Marazion is a small market town with a fantastic beach and spectacular views to St Michael's Mount. The town has a wide selection of restaurants and bars.
Marazion is a popular destination for windsurfing and kitesurfing, sailing and birdwatching. There is an RSPB Reserve at Marazion Marsh.
St Michael's Mount can be accessed at low tide by way of a causeway stretching from Marazion beach and into the Mount's harbour. At other times visitors to the Mount are ferried from Marazion in small boats. The Mount is under the care of the National Trust. Visitors are able to visit the castle on top of the mount and, sometimes, the gardens below are also open.
